Ather Rizta S Electric Scooter Launched in Nepal at NPR 2.94 Lakh

Vaidya Energy Pvt. Ltd., the authorized distributor of Ather Energy in Nepal, has announced the nationwide launch of the Ather Rizta S. The model expands the Rizta line-up, following the introduction of the Rizta Z in Nepal last year.

The Rizta range now consists of two variants. The Rizta Z offers an IDC range of 159 km, while the newly launched Rizta S delivers an IDC range of 123 km from a 2.7 kWh battery pack.

The scooter produces 4.3 kW of peak power and 22 Nm of torque, with a claimed top speed of 80 km per hour and acceleration from 0 to 40 km per hour in 4.7 seconds.

The Rizta S is designed with a focus on everyday usability, featuring a larger seat, extended floorboard space, and increased storage capacity. It also includes safety features such as Auto Hold, Fall Safe, and Emergency Stop Signal.

Alongside the launch, the company has introduced the Ather Assurance package, which combines battery warranty, charging access, and service support. The battery is covered by a standard warranty of three years or 30,000 km, with an option to extend coverage up to five years or 60,000 km.

The company states that it currently operates 35 public fast-charging points across Nepal under the Ather Grid network. Customers purchasing the Rizta S will receive one year of access to these charging stations at no additional cost. Service support is available through Ather Experience Centers located in multiple cities, with additional offers such as a discounted Annual Maintenance Contract available for a limited period.

The Ather Rizta S is priced at NPR 2,94,900. As part of the launch, an introductory benefit of NPR 20,000 is being offered to the first 150 customers, reducing the effective price to NPR 2,74,999. The offer is available through direct discounts, exchange schemes, or financing options.Bookings have opened across Ather Experience Centers nationwide, with reservations available at NPR 999.
